Easy self-care by controlling the autonomic nervous system
hello everyone. This is Makoto Mizukoshi from 121FITNESS.
[what controls the autonomic nerve controls self-care? Recommended self-care】
Even though I eat well every day and get enough sleep at night, I still can't get rid of my body's fatigue. Is there anyone like that? It may be that the sympathetic nerves have become dominant all the time.
Humans have a mechanism called the autonomic nervous system to control the functions necessary for life, and the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system are composed of mechanisms with different roles. Roughly speaking, the sympathetic nerves work when they are active, and the parasympathetic nerves work when the body relaxes and rests. And the sympathetic nerve-parasympathetic nerve is in an antagonistic relationship that when this one works, this one rests. If you can't get rid of fatigue even after a good rest, it is possible that your sympathetic nervous system is dominant even when you are resting.
[In other words, if you want to get rid of fatigue, you should create a state of parasympathetic nerve dominance. ]
In this season, it is recommended to warm the area around the sacrum with a warmer before entering the futon! It is known that the parasympathetic nerve becomes dominant when the sacrum (the plate-shaped bone in the middle of the pelvis and the upper part of the buttocks) is stimulated. Any stimulation (as long as it's not too strong) is OK at this time. It would be nice to warm up with Cairo at this time of year. It is recommended to use it while eating or while brushing your teeth. When your whole body feels fluffy, remove the warmer and go to the futon. The tension in your body should be gone and you should be able to rest comfortably.
In the season when it's easy for your body to stay energized due to the cold, let's get a life that doesn't get tired with simple self-care.
